“双减”背景下，为进一步提升孩子们的核心素养，中山市坦洲明德学校三四年级英语组围绕人教版四年级英语自然单元话题《Unit 3 Weather》开展气候主题活动，旨在帮助学生更好的了解和掌握有关weather的词汇和句型，并将之灵活运用于日常生活中，拓展孩子们的思维，激发孩子的学习兴趣，探究更多关于气候的知识，进一步了解大自然。

Part One 喜报

我校三年级李庭庭老师指导的三（5）班胡宇航同学、六年级李柳媚老师指导的六（8）班苗沛凝同学在参加坦洲镇“More Reading,More Fun”小学绘本阅读故事展示活动中，均荣获坦洲镇一等奖。

《How is the weather?》

Hello, my name is Goumiao Lu. I study in Mingde school.My school is very big.There are eighty-eight classrooms,two playgrounds and two computer rooms in the school.There is a library,too. I can borrow some books there.I like sunny days,I can jump and run on the playground.I don’t like rainy days. On rainy days,we have to have PE class inside.

My name is Zixi Zhou. I’m ten years old. I’m in Class6, Grade4 in Mingde School. I’m a happy girl. I have many good friends in my class. We help each other.

I like spring. It’s warm and cool. I can fly kites in the park.I also like dancing and reading. What about you？

Part Three 趣味课堂

基于主题意义的大单元整体教学，老师在不断提升个人专业素养的同时，打造富有“知识性、思想性、趣味性”的高效课堂是老师们的追求。在weather故事教学中，孩子们从绘本故事和生活中感知天气，了解天气与人们的出行密切相关。

同学们根据生活实际与课堂所学，绘制出独具特色的天气思维导图。从生活中感知，了解气候的不同特点。

1. Pay close attention to the reports of typhoon in the media and take preventive measures in time.

2. Typhoon may blow down buildings and high-altitude facilities, causing accidents and far away from buildings.

3. Try to avoid driving in the area affected by strong wind. Prepare flashlight, food, drinking water and medicine, check electric circuit, pay attention to gas, fire, and prevent fire.

4. During typhoon, reduce unnecessary going out. If you have to go out, put on waterproof clothes and pay attention to the depth of the road.
